Y'know last year, they kept saying they werent opening until the thursday, n they ended up opening on the wednesday evening (which we sadly didnt hear about n arrived thursday morning tryin to pitch our tents about a bludy mile away!)
is there any word on the wednesday opening this year, coz knowing our luck at the past two, we'll arrive on the wrong day!!ah well, more time for drinkin guess!
...was cus they ended up putting the wrong day in advertising to start with, realised they'd done it, tried to change it....too late!! Ppl had already seen it....so they honoured it.
Mean Fiddler will never get the council or the local residents to agree to having an extra day of camping. They may even get in trouble for it for not insisting people hold back until the thursday

well there wasent a misprint in 2001 and people were sttill allowed into the campsite on wednesday...i arrived on the thurday at 9am ish and the site was already quite packed... they cant fucking stop us we should camp outside teh pub if they wont open
too right! whats with these hmmm to put it politely "dumb *ucks" with their "they cant stop us!!"
As I've said below.. if that were true why the hell do we need tickets... I'm sure they'll open the gates early simply cos they always do and there's crew & friends etc camped u[ by the wednesday. Thursday will always be the official word as thats errr the day before the festival perhaps!?
(sigh)
extra day off work to drink in the outdoors. simple things keep me happy. first year we tried it last year but i think they slyly do this to stagger the intake of campers - makes it easier to cope because thursday's normally a horrible mess anyway.
wednesday was one of the best days last year the place wasent so cramped the toilets were nice and clean and we all got really drunk and went meating random people... its makes a nice start to the weekend
