| One stage down, 20 bands down, no bleedin' gazebos (am I making too much of that?) & now of the 4 or 5 bands that I'm actually arsed about seeing they put Ministry & hellacopters on at the same time. |

Maiden are worth the cash on their own!
with blood brothers, hatebreed, hed pe and hell is for heroes (oh and that limp bizkit band) all pulling out it's made it all a bit stupid.
at least the stages will be free roaming and they've managed to do something mean fiddler won't do... give us the band times a week in advance, but with the way it's going by saturday half those bands will have dropped out. |

I think it was Byron that wrote "In spring time a old bloke's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of getting pissed in a field & listening to metal". & its pretty much true for me that after a long cold winter, the first promoter out of the blocks is gonna get my cash no matter what the line up.
These days 4 or 5 good bands (Maiden, Ministry, Hellacopters & the mighty Darkness) & a handful of others that might prove interesting is more thann enuff for me but if I was 20 years younger I think I'd be seriously pissed off. There's a fine line between contractual disclaimers & false advertising.
There's also a fine line between fishing & standing by a river with a stick in your hand...oh yessss. | |
