I bought my tickets over the web pretty much as soon as they came out but I still haven't received them - has anyone that booked through the web received theirs yet?
Last year I didnt get mine til about just under a month before the festival, so dont worry about it. I think if you ordered the priority booking tix they hadnt actually even been made yet, it was just so you definitely had a ticket....did that make sense?
they're probably not even gonna get sent out till 10 days before the weekend. I read somewhere that that's the latest ploy to avoid touting of tickets....obviously they can't be sold on places like ebay if they don't have them to sell in the first place...this will piss on the fireworks of the tossers who buy up large quantities of tickets to sell too.
I think most people are fed up with the Ebay ticket scammers by now. If you're really stuck for a ticket for a gig, a common or garden Tout would be much cheaper, although I doubt you'll find these at glasto any more, hence so many over-priced tickets on Ebay.
At the Linkin Park gig in London in March they were buying tickets for £10 and selling them for £50!!
I got mine for free anyway so I didn't give a shit, but I had 4 extra tix I'd been given and I was hoping to sell them when I got there. I didn't fucking bother for a tenner each, and I didn't want to give those bastards even more profit in their fat arsed pockets, so i brought them back home again!!
for a start I'm not brave enough and secondly I didn't have time really....:(
Still....I got those unused tickets in the frame along with my signed T-shirt (that my hubby was wearing at the time!) and another in with my framed, signed poster!!
I got my money's worth, so didn't mind losing out on some dosh, especially if it meant less for the touts!!
