Dear Sir F. Reg

Dear Sir,
Unless the rumours i have heard are simply scandalous lies, created to blacken your good name, it has been suggested that you did not attend the 2002 Reading Festival, and this is the reason there has been no review. I would suggest to a man of your excellent character that, if the rumours are indeed true, that we, the users of this board would respect you more if you simply admitted the awful truth. If, however, you truely were in attendance, i can only suggest you finish your latest works of reviewing genius, and silence all critics.

Sincerly, someone with far too much time on thier hands

I think not

The flabby bloke may be pretty nifty with a pooter & know some long words 'n' all that but 'kick ass' ?...I think not.

Any doctor will tell you it is clinically impossible to kick ass in sensible shoes.

Also, at phoenix one year he missed Iggy AND Shellac to go see the Inspirals...I rest my case.

The year Iggy headlined.

It was a Saturday (The only day I ever went to a Phoenix) I think it was 1994. Shellac played a tent while Iggy was on, I caught their last few songs plus a top on stage water fight at the end of the show.

Just to make you even more sick...I also saw Albini in Rapeman supporting Dinosaur Junior at a club in Chester many years ago...cool huh?

looks like you might well have been to all the gigs i ever wished i had, rapeman would have been legendary. in 94 i would have been 11 so think i can be excused on ground of ignorant youth. still, saw shellac at atp 2002 and they're playing again next year. can't wait.

Actually...

...I've never been to a festival in my life - I made it all up to win friends and get girls.

Drypsy, if you enjoyed Shellac at ATP, use this link, where you will find their ATP show for download: http://www.transmission3000.com/bands/?r=shellac.html
