Last time

They started their last Reading appearance with Anti Nowhere League's 'So What', if they do that again I'll be a very happy man.

It being England I'd be surprised if we didn't get a cover or two, hopefully something from the heady days of NWOBHM.

come to think of it they usually get an old NWOBHM act to open for em in Blighty, is there any space left on the bill...Budgie would by cool...no really.

are you sure?

metallicas supports arent usually old NWOBHM bands. on their last uk tour (1996) it was corrosion of conformity supporting. there were no NWOBHM bands at the big day out in 1999 at milton keynes (unless you count mercyful fate who are scandanavian and therefore not NWOBHM.)

the only one i can think of is on the black album tour when they had diamond head open for them at milton keynes but that was over 10 years ago...

Good point, I was thinking festivals rather than tours, I don't follow 'tallica close enuff to go see 'em on their own.
Yeah I was thinking of Diamond Head & I do kinda count Mercyful Fate ''cos altho' they're Danish (I think?) they were definately part of the scene.
