has anyone taken a listen to anything of the new sampler for the album comin out later on this year called "North".. i heard some stuff live and it was amazing, i jus thought i'd say you can download 1 studio (down) + 1 live version (space) off of www.absolutepunk.net , jus thought SoCo fans maybe interested or ppl who haven't heard about 'em, plus if you're a metaller or whatever this message isn't for you if you don't like SoCo so replies saying "Something Corporate are queer" or whatever are pointless (someone PLEASE post a reply saying that :D)

cud be cos SoCo aren't punk, i like em a lot they're different to what else is around em like bands like NFG (ok so not THAT different) but they're immense live so... s'all a matter of opinion i guess

That was Something Corporate that said that. People are heckling them because they are punk wannabes. Theyve never even thought themselves as 'punk'. Just because they sing 'punk rock princess' doesn't mean so either.

That's true i misunderstood what you said i thought you or someone else said that, but yeh they've never claimed to be punk yet all these ppl say about how they do, it's like saying "backstreet boys are just metal wannabes" it makes NO sense, something corporate claim to be as much punk as backstreet boys claim they are metal.. so why do people always think they're a wannabe punk band.. i don't get it
