I leave you for 5 minutes and this is the extent of your convo? Who's gonna shit on stage? :P

DEP were in my opinion brainless idiots. What must his mother have thought?

The thoughts of Polyphonic Spree doing that are just too hideous to comprehend!!

Oh well....I know for sure i'm not watching them so what the fuck do I care, right?

Gotta disagree about Dillinger. I think they're one of the smartest bands around, and as far as extreme stage perfomances go, that was the best i've seen, a set of pure aggression from a whole band, from start to finish. Amazing.

I would have to agree. Plus the shitting incident was used to highlight the rubbish that was on the main stage later on that day.

DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN

August 16 2003, 8:41 PM

to call DEP anything less than amazing is criminal, they're one of the most interesting and intense bands around, i've seen them live 3 times and each time they put on an unbelievable show, ok so they got a little carried away but.. if ya gotta go ya gotta go!

....along with converge are one of the best bands to emerge in the last decade or so, therefore, they can do what the hell they like, when they like.

Ace! Didn't expect so many people to support DEP. Kinda reaffirms my faith in people appreciating quality musicianship. I've seen Dillinger a few times and as was said in one of the above posts, they always put on the most amazing and intense performances. To do this week in and week out, sometimes in tiny venues as part of long tours in front of less than a few hundred people, takes real passion, commitment and love of music. The fact that their ability amazed mike patton when he worked with them shows they are something very fucking special.

Would recommend Ephel Duath to anyone who likes DEP

Check out their new tune - "Baby's first coffin". It was written for the "Underworld" soundtrack. Greg's vocals sound awesome on record, and the melodic breakdown really works for Dillinger! If this song is a sign of what is to come, we are in for a treat.
ps. Converge are playing the Mean Fiddler on 29th September, check em out, they is sik blud.
Rock on

its amazin like ya said that ppl support em, it must take so much commitment when they play little venues all the time where other bands have to have radio play + big venues or they give up, Greg is an awesome vocalist and i can't wait to see em again, i do believe they'll be touring til 2012 AD.. we can hope, anyone else go 2 the system of a down birmingham show when the lights failed so Dillinger played P Diddy - Bad Boy For Life and got the whole crowd singin?

Dillinger did a badass cover of Rebel Yell by Billy idol the last 2 times i saw them. They got booed off the stage at SOAD in London, I was so pissed off at the lameass limpwristed MTV crowd. Ah well, at least there's a few of us around to fly the hardcore(etc) flag.
rock on.
