Anyone got this week's NME with the aerial poster of Reading? Taken from right over yellow camp. Anyone spotted their tent? I found our camp-site fairly easily - can even see Lee and Sam outside one of the tents!
By the way, did anyone see the bath in yellow camp? By Sunday it had been used as a toilet, was half full of rubbish, piss and poo, all nicely topped off with a dead fish... lovely. We were just a couple of tents from it. I'm so glad no-one tipped THAT over on the last night! |

Yeah, that bath tub was in my camp. We purloined it on Wednesday night, then it all went a bit pear shaped. We were planning to put bullies in it (ie festival wankers) but people just passed out instead. I was the guy who recognised you. |

...it was Kev. I was in the pub in town, and he told me when I got back. You should have popped by for tea and biscuits. Or lager... |

I walked through your camp pretty much every time I returned to my tent - not once was I offered tea/biscuits/lager. Perhaps next year? | |

im not gonna compare it reading coz ive never been but how can you say leeds sucked?!?, i can safley say it was one of the best festivals ever!
not for the line up, i just had an amazing time!
i was camped in yellow and the only complaint i had was how can people who camp next to a big isolated tree expect anything else but campers pissing up it at 1 in the morning, when the only toilet was the those steel cages. if im gonna have to piss like an animal id rather do it up a tree. no what you mean about those cock knockers with water pistols though, soaked one of our papers and radio too! |

yea, i think i know the tree youre talking about too? was it by the hedge at the top of a hill/ridge just by another field?
anyway, admittedly leeds 2003 wasnt as good as reading 2000/01/02 but it was a bloody good festival.
its a joke you arent allowed camp fires, but people were setting some up, and you also get the added bonus of big explosions and fires, and all that.
we camped at the bottom of the hill just along from the isolated tree (which i think got a few branches burnt, but then the fire went out on the last night), right near the telegraph pole that got yanked down so it was lying about 45 degree angle...
just by where the big fire on the path was..
