Well, I WAS on a free server, but have moved the site to a fully paid-for dedicated one instead.

The free space was from www.easyspace.co.uk who are generally pretty good to deal with, and if you buy a domain name, it's easy (and cheap) to link that to your free space, which is what I originally did.

I think they still do a fairly generous free space deal of about 30megs. Check whether your own ISP (if you use a dial-up connection) gave you free space, too. Often that will be advert-free, which is a bonus.
