I just won tickets for The Darkness homecoming gig at the Astoria on tues night...

woo. no really. woo. i mean wow. a pub band in a big venue. who wants to a see 4 80's rejects make complete tits of themselves anyhow. oh hang on... thats all they do...

however thats my opinion. im sure you will be wearing a dodge lycra suit too

...the idea of the Carling homecoming shows was that big bands went back to the small venues that they played when they started.

Darkness only played the Astoria once & that was about 8 months ago & they've only just graduated to the next venue up.

They should be doing the Notting Hill Arts Club, thats where it all began in London & yes Justin did wear silly cat suits even in those days.

They were fuckin excellent at the Astoria tho' so have a good one even if you do have to share the venue with the usual music biz hangers on.
