my chemical romance would be a very good addition to the reading line up. theyre prob play either the concrete jungle or carling stage i would imagine
i would also like to see the darkness there cos even though theyre album is VERY mediocore, live theyre one of the best bands around.
agreed bout the beastie boys and as for the oridnary boys i would imagine theyre be low down on the carling stage so ill still be in bed when they play. parently theyre indie shite
I hope they sort the concrete jungle stage out this year and make it so its in a bigger tent as last year so many people were pissed off they couldnt get in the tent etc. Also they should make it for all 3 days as theres so many people that just go for that stage, Also I think we need more uk punk/ska acts playing that stage instead of mainly american bands. We need bands like 4FT Fingers, Phinius Gage, Farse etc playing as they derserve it.
Also the main/decent bands wont be annouced for a couple of months now unless your lik Mettalica and announce your playing months before the official annoucement.
The whole Concrete Jungle thing leaves me cold personnally but 'spect to 4FT Fingers 'cos they did a Bugsy Malone song when I saw 'em supporting someone once.
Agree about the brit bands thing tho' I never understood why we import so much yankee stuff when there's perfectly good British bands struggling round the shitty venues.
Then again I'm a bitter ex 'musician' (Iuse the term very very loosely)
lets hope they dont book farse though coz thye are a bunh of wankers who charged so much for a charity gig (which was within less than an hours travling distance)that the charity lost 200 quid

Farse in no way deserve to have a place at Reading, they can barely get on new skids on the block on scuzz. I think Hedroom are more worthy of the space but still not big enough. Fuck anyone like 4ft fingers, Farse or any of that shit playing Reading I saw if your talking about the concrete jungle tent we need more alkaline trio, taking back sunday and funeral for a friend etc.
