Not that long ago there was a new music block build at my school (somervale, Midsomer Norton). It was opened by none other than Michael Eavis. During the opening ceremony, he announced that there was to be a competition, judged by himself, to find the best local band in my area (about 25mins up the road from himself). Entry’s had to be bands where members were still attending local schools. It was held recently and the winners were my band Idol Justice – a three-piece melodic hardcore metal act (www.idoljustice.tk). The prize on offer was a slot @ the festival itself.
