Well, there's an option to have it almost exactly the same as before, but WITH the most recently replied-to thread rising to the top. Anyway, I'll see what others have to say... not that I don't value your opinion, Gray-bags...

It should allow you to post, but I don't know the pop-up status (ie if there are any or not) and I haven't edited the default colours etc. Cheers! Reg

Not sure.. colours definetly need a 'slight' altering. Is weird after years of the old style :)

Anyway, Mar, please try the Proboards link a couple of posts above - it looks good, allows avatars, sticky topics etc, and I've not yet seen a pop-up... go on, you know you want to!

Yes, you can have avatars, and quote posts (the "quote" button is on the right hand side of each post), no idea what "vbcode" is. Images are also allowed, as is HTML.

What's the "filter" you mentioned? Swearing?

I'm going to get a bit more feedback before moving over for certain - also want to be certain that there are no (or few) pop-ups.

And, Mar, any preferences on colour schemes? Mind you, it's like bloody "Changing Rooms" round here...

This forum format seems cool, think it'll just take a little getting used to, it was good on the old one that you could quickly scan down and see who had replied to a post. On this one it might get a bit confusing if old posts keep resurfacing at the top of the list.... and the colour definitely needs to change!
