just joined this site today,im an avid metal detectorist and finding anything roman would be nice,not mutch up our way in scotland.
did a metal detecting survey in perthshire for the gask ridge project,place had roman stuff coming up all over the field,but i was the one who through a spanner in the works by finding a bronze aged flat axe head.oops, had to hand it in,was in perfect condition too.
