I only have one concern. Heat. Those hoses will get hot fast near the exhaust. Melted plastic is no biggie, if it doesnt ignite, but the effects of the exposed metal coil could cause you other problems.
May i humbly suggest somesing like this to keep that thing cool on the road course?

The design and placement look great, but the temp rating on that hose is suspect. But only you know, as you have your hands on it, not me.
