I think this is pretty close to what I want. Changes are the air filter is now plated, and the aluminum rad. Other than redoing the fuel lines, and a final tidy up of the wiring. Probably nix the red MSD cap in favour of black at some point in the future. I don't have the export brace back on yet, until I recheck the lifters (lash). That will happen in a week or two.

Now that is a "Class act" if I ever saw one!! Nicely done!! Any ideas on when the rest of the paint job will be? Did you do the painting that has been done under the hood, etc--looks great!! Are the valve covers highly polished, or chromed? My pentroofs from Tony Branda are "chromed" but I don't think it's a very good job, and I'm thinking about having them stripped and triple chrome plated this winter. Any ideas as to how expensive that might be? Dean

I killed my paint budget with all the other issues I've been having. The good thing, is that only the primer has absorbed some scratches.

The valve covers are plated also.

No I didn't do the painting. Just wasted my finger tips on the block sanding LOL
