front frame rail work

thats actually shelving unit from a friends work.. they changed the shelving with new stuff and he grabbed abunch for me so i can use it for my rails. worked out great. still have some left over for seat riders or gussets or whatever.

Now that is RUSTY! They just don't rust that bad around here (except that 390 68 Fairlane wagon Rory had!) I thought my 66 Comet convertible was bad but it's minor compared to that.
You are best off to cut that whole front end off at the firewall and use a 2x3" frame section that already has the Must II mounts. If you already have the crossmember and suspension then at least make whole 2x3" frame rails running from rad support to the rear frame.

i dont have a crossmember yet, but all new rails from front subframe back, since the rest is all solid i will leave it. there has been times i was going to give up, but something bout a rod'd round body falcon with fat tires and a 390/4sp just screams COOOOLL.
