more time then money right now.. need to find plans on lower coilover control arms and make a set (cant afford new or even used).. i did find 9" 5bolt rotors to use so i can bolt my torque thrusts on.. still need the rear axle resplined, then push it out..
I am removing the shock towers from my 66 Comet. I am using tubular lower control arms from Lou Fegers racing. The lower arm with ball joint was 70.00 bucks. It has a shock mount on top and a stud out of the bottom for my strut rod. If you want to e-mail me I can send you a photo. I believe he can order whatever length arm you are looking for.Jim
needing control arms now, so its on hold for abit.. when im better i will tackle finish the welding and clean the rack, spindles, frame, and get ready to bolt everything on and be able to push the car outside.
this is the brand I used
Find a circle track dealer close to you
I bought
2 uppers
2 lowers
4 screw in ball joints
2 3/4 heims
2 upper C/O weld on shock mounts
and 2 mounting plates for the upper control arm
ever thing was 260 bucks
now is there slow time so they might deal
Look under circle track suspension
these are the ones I used for the lowers
takes a 3/4 heim
all I did was drill out the lower mount for a 3/4 bolt
weld 2 washers on where the stock adjustment slot was as the heim gives all the adjustment you will need
