A 1967 Ford Galaxie 500. All original, a little rough in som spots (trunk floor, right inner fender, dash and headliner) but thats all. The car has not had it's tires on the road since 1985!!! It was brought on a trailer from So Carolina about 9 years ago after it was given to the owners son after the owner died. He said from 84-85 his father would drive it to church and thats it. Anyway, this is my baby. I hope you all like it.

Looks Like A Solid Starting Point

I prefer the 67 over the 68. You have allot of work ahead of you, just remember to keep it fun. It's great to see these projects get started and follow your progress.

What is your initial plan, correct restoration, resto-mod, hot rod or race car? What's 1st on your to do list? ww

1965 Galaxie 500XL 445ci Stroker C-6
1965 Galaxie 500XL 390ci P-Code, 4-Speed
1965 Galaxie 500XL 289ci Cruse-O-Matic
2001 Ford F-150 SuperCrew 5.4L
2006 John Deer X320 Garden Tractor

The 1st thing

to do will be getting all the rotton sheet metal replaced in the truck and rplece the inner fender where it had a leaking battery. This car is completely stock and it will remain stock. I will have the engine rebuilt including the 2bbl carb. I was so excited when i pu;;ed up into the drivway and saw it.

Just kidding. Have fun with the resto. I can tell you one thing, I love how those fastbacks have no post. My 66 is the same and I love the airflow, especially on those hot, muggy days. Take care!!
