Hi, just a quick hello , and to give some Gord hugs to some folks that helped me and my 8 yrs plus quit. ((((((((((Deets : Donna)))))))) love ya and prayers said . You helped me more than you know, and the same for (((((((((Jan))))))).

((((((((((((( Marsha )))))))) so nice to see you still here and giving as usual. You have certainly helped us all here a lot. (((((((((Sue)))))))) so nice to see you here as well. And lots of others .

I am doing great, seldom think of smoking, but for some reason, I think of BV a lot and the friends I have made here and the real life struggles of people from all over the world.

Trish and I recently bought a house with a bit of land and attached to The Charleston lake provincial park. We have a couple of mini goats, chickens, 4 dogs, cats, and our news menagerie member hopity the bunny. My 2 yr old grand daughter loves coming to visit gammy and gampys farm lol.

Truth is, I am so greatful that I quit smoking when I did, I might not have lived to enjoy this time of my life.

I learned that one of the easiest things we do as smokers, is to use any excuse imaginable . Like stress, death, happiness , sadness, anger, guilt all of these and many more. I have learned that every single person has some issues in. Life , and the majority of them don't smoke to cover it all up. as once said here on the board, escaping from the smoke screen and living life on its own terms is quite refreshing.

To those of you who are like me " ex smoker ". Awesome job and for those of you in the process of quitting, congrats to you, this is one of those decisions that is life changing and all of it is good.

You are in good hands here, and it is so great to stop in and visit every now and then , to gain some inspiration and hope

Thanks to all of you, I remain smoke free and loving it

To live is so startling it leaves little time for anything else.
Emily Dickinson

Look, I don't want to wax philosophic, but I will say that if you're alive you've got to flap your arms and legs, you've got to jump around a lot, for life is the very opposite of death, and therefore you must at very least think noisy and colorfully, or you're not alive.
Mel Brooks

"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone You meet is fighting some kind of battle."

NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO, THERE YOU ARE!!!!
