if they're big enough they're great for stuffed toys. We here in Indy make a lot of stuffed toys from fleece. I have a duck and a puppy dog pattern. NIN has a teddy bear and Carewear has a bunny pattern.
We've also made booties from fleece.
They could be sewn together to make patchwork blankets by slightly overlapping raw edges and zig-zagging them together. I've seen this done with kind a satin stitch join. (This is probably clear as mud ...)
