this was done for our family's cookie swap this year. i make one difficult cookie recipe then one that is a snap for kids. i got it from a hershey's cookbook.
Peanut Peanut Butter Treats
1- bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Chips
1 Tablespoon shortening
2 cups peanuts (without skin...or use a small can of peanuts)
Put the Reeses Peanut Butter Chips and shortening into a microwave safe dish. Heat for 1 1/2 mintues on high (100%) or until chips are melted enough to stir together. After stirring mixture until smooth add peanuts. stir until peanuts are coated. drop onto wax paper in clumps. allow to sit until cool.
