I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks to Jeannine and Mary/Seattle for helping us regarding tax deductions. At our next chapter meeting, I hope to explain it to our volunteers. I'm afraid many of us have been operating under a false assumption - that assigning a value to our donations was better than calculating the total cost. Now we know what's what!
As far as our devoted volunteers will be concerned, I know that NIN means so much more than a mere tax deduction.
How I wish there were more hours in the day, so I could make sweet, tiny things for sweet, tiny people!
