I was a regular contributor for several years and then I got sidetracked by some other priorities for awhile. Not less important, just different. I am so happy to see that this organization has continued to grow, grow, grow and is full of wonderful volunteers all doing one of my all-time favorite things--making things for tiny people.
I have a couple of projects that I MUST finish and I envision those being finished by October or so (curtains for three rooms for which I've had the fabric over a year already!) and then.....I'm back to my baby things. I have a whole dresser and several other large containers full of baby fabrics and yarn. And I have itchy fingers! I sew, quilt and crochet. I used to keep yarn with me at all times, so that I could whip up a bootie during breaks at work, or get most of a little cap done while waiting at the doctors office. When you do this, you also get a chance to talk about what you're doing and why it's important to you. Waiting anywhere where there's a seat becomes a win-win situation.
I've been reading a lot of the back posts on the board and have caught up on the entire website. I just thought I should be polite, stop lurking and let you all know I was here. I will send goodies as soon as I can. In the meantime, just know I'm with all of you in spirit and I'll get the goods going ASAP.
