Our calendar is packed full of baby pictures. Would you like to have one? We estimate that our cost per calendar to be approximately $3.50.
If you would like a calendar sent to you, please send a minimum of $3.50 to the address below along with $1.10 for shipping expenses - $4.60 total. Any amount sent above the minimum $4.60 is greatly appreciated and will be considered a donation that is eligible for tax deduction. If you would like to pay with credit card, please call us 417-967-9441 or we also accept PayPal payments to office@newbornsinneed.org (please add a note that payment is for calendar).
Calendars are printed on 8 1/2” x 11” pages and bound. Here is what they look like:
We have printed on a variety of colors which can be seen in the photo below. They are from top to bottom blue, white, yellow, green, pink, and purple. Please specify color when ordering or we will randomly choose.
The NIN 2006 Calendar was created by National President, TeLesa Lack. Her message to us:
I have over the last few years thought that NIN needed a personalized calendar but I would always get discouraged and decide that it was a job that was too hard or too time consuming. I just wanted a little something that folks could use in their daily life but more than that, something to remind them of a great need. I was inspired to create this calendar soon after one of our volunteers, Sandy Garey, completed her 2,200 mile “hike for the babies” helping us to raise over $6,000. On Sandy’s website, she has a quote posted there that I think of often - the journey of a thousand miles, starts with a single step.
After reading about Sandy’s recent accomplishment, I had overwhelming amounts of newly found inspiration. I decided that if Sandy (along with her dog Simon) could hike 2,200 miles then I could create a calendar to help us raise funds and awareness for our cause.
I am hopeful there are others who can also be inspired to help too! I truly believe that you can make a difference in the lives of God’s tiniest children. It can start with a single step, a single blanket, a single bottle, or even with a single dollar! Please help us in our cause. You can make a difference today!
