Anyone find great sales this morning?

Good Morning All!

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving filled with special family moments and wonderful food. Luckily no food disasters at our house this year, but the family managed to tease me about almost all of them as I do the major cooking for this holiday each year - most of the boo-boo's are mine. They forgot the time leftover gravy got poured into the flatware drawer...which I was thankful for! No dull moments at our house.

Anyone find great sales this morning? I admire all of you who braved the weather and are at places like Joann's at the crack of dawn. Let us know here on the list how it was at the stores in your area, and what great buys you found.

The home office elves were busy before they headed home for turkey dinners with their families and updated the stocking stuffer page for us. http://www.newbornsinneed.org/stockingcount/

As you can see we are reaching our goal of 1800 stockings but there is still plenty of opportunity for knitters, crocheters, sewists, and shoppers to help us fill in the items we need. As you are out and about over the next few days please keep an eye out for items that will help us brighten the lives of a lot of children who need our help to have a brighter Christmas.

For people sending items to home office - now is the time to start getting them in the mail if you have not already. There will be a group of school children coming in on the 30th to help with wrapping and stuffing the stockings we have, and they will be coming back again in early December. The stockings will start being distributed soon.

Thank you all for the things you do for home office and to support your local chapters. You all are definitely high on the list of things I am thankful for. We could not begin to do any of this without each and every one of you.
