There's only 3 days left to register for convention so please do sign up if you plan to attend. We love to get together, share ideas, and make friends among many other things like the good food and we can't forget the classes. We also have 2005 Convention pictures to share. It was held in Tucson, Arizona! Below is our NIN grandma, Evelyn Nimeskern. Some call her Ev, some call her momma duck, but I call her grams. Isn't she just adorable wearing this flower hair piece. The Arizona Chapter used these so that everyone knew where to go if they had a question.
2006 Convention was also a huge success and we had so much fun. Would you believe that we had 3 different Tom's cooking for us in the kitchen. They also served food too! Here are 2 of the Tom's:
Aren't they cute! They didn't do it alone though. They had a few ladies in there also assisting with food preparation. We also got to meet Sandy & Simon (the super dog) in person. They hiked over 2,200 miles and raised over $6,500 for our NIN babies. Here is a picture of them along with many of the Newark, Ohio volunteers:
