I love to sew by hand, it is so soothing and I have exact control over the needle and thread. When my first son was a wee one, I didn't have a sewing machine so all of his little suits for church and day clothing was sewn. I also made him a diaper stacker and embroidered a baby giraffe all the way up the side, it was so cute

What kind of things you do like to hand sew?
