Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all Newborns In Need Volunteers!

I wanted to take a moment to wish all of you a wonderful New Year. This year I decided not to make those usual resolutions, diets, exercise, not to use the dryer as an iron and run up the electrical bill, not to put dirty dishes in the clean dishwasher because I don't have time to unload it. Instead I have decided to re-dedicate myself to my family. I hope to be able to put a couple of home cooked meals on the table regardless of the boys sports schedule. I plan to be a bit more patient at 6:15 am when I have to get my oldest up and ready for school. And I plan to be a bit more understanding as my husband a baseball and basketball coach re-tells me every bad play that I watched first hand only hours before. But as I pledge to take better care of my family, I want to let you know that that promise extends to all of you.

You are my NIN family and I will do my very best to lead this organization in a way you will be proud to be associated with. It is my understanding from Carol we have about 11,000 volunteers out there, and honestly when I thought about having a big family, and God decided two was enough, I had no idea how many he would bring into my life. Every day I ask for His help in guiding this organization and I am not ashamed to admit I don't have all the answers. But, with His help and with all of your support, you have my pledge that I will do my very best over the coming year.

I wish all of you much love and success both in your personal lives and in your NIN work. You are all dear to my heart.
