carol, has it been that long? and i never realized we were the same age!! i learned about nin from an article in sew news magazine. having way too much material, i talked to carol and eventually loaded my car and headed to houston, MO ( i had only heard of the one in tx) and found the most delightful woman and her most precious daughters! over the years, i have donated through chapters or mailed to the home office. my biggest donation came when i was moving 2 years ago. I called to see if they wanted any of my fabric stash since i wasn't going to move it. here they came--and left with a truck and trailer full of fabric and household items to be sold at the flea market. (the money is used to buy the other items they need). i look for a nin chapter wherever i go.
