I bought a used embroidery machine less than a year ago and have been using it to make FSL (free-standing lace) angels that we use with our bereavement layettes. I found one design on the internet that was relatively inexpensive and use that one quite a bit, but I can only get 3 of them in my largest hoop. I have been able to squeeze 6 of the smallest FSL angels from Criswell into 1 hooping but it does not have a hanging loop.
Does anyone here digitize designs? Can you make a free-standing lace angel or angel designed to be done on organza that includes a hanging loop? 2" to 3" tall is a good size.
Also - does anyone know of any places to get inexpensive, but good quality embroidery thread and/or water soluble stabilizer?
BTW - I loved seeing the previous embroidery posts on the board.
Have a good day!
