In Memorium – Dot Fulton
It is with deepest regret that I am letting our Newborns in Need volunteers know of the passing of one of our dearest volunteers. Dot (Dorothy) Fulton passed away yesterday.. Many of you who attended our first two Newborns in Need conventions in Houston, Missouri may remembering meeting Dot and/or being instructed by her on how to cut out and sew our proprietarial angel wing burial gown and bonnet layette set.
Dot designed our angel wing burial garment and sewed many of them for donation to hospitals. She was a dedicated volunteer that spent untold hours with the first first NIN chapter, the Ozarks Chapter. In fact, Dot was helping with NIN before we even had our 501 c 3. As NIN beings another ‘chapter’ in our history, it is with sadness that we bid fond farewell to those who have left us and passed on the legacy to be continued forward.
For those of you who want to send a card or letter to her family, please send it to my address below or email to order@grandmothersattic.net and I will be sure her family will get it. Dot’s funeral will be held in Ozark, MO this coming week. She is very much loved and will be sadly missed.
