but the engine is an in line six. I don't think BMW has any transverse engines yet...the Mini doesn't count
The E30 body is a classic and is actually the car that took BMW international in the early 80s. Prior to that BMW was a specialty car in North America and only bought by enthusiasts or rich people. The E30 became the badge of the Yuppies(a bigger member so to speak)
