First message, my names Stephen, greetings to all and I'm enjoying the ambiance. Interested in Seiko "land" collectibles from Seikosha to Grand mechanicals.
Was doing research on an '83 Rolex 16800 Submariner I'm selling(hey buddy got a spare $5K ?). I read about Rolex presentation watches with COMEX printed on face of top Rolex models and I think they were worn by staff at SWISS Chronograph exhibitions (not remember the expo part). As may as 50-60 handed out over a couple of years with most clawed back into chronograph museums. The figure used was about 6 in world circulation.
