felt that I needed a winder' personally don't see the reason to have one especially as you say you now have a number of watches, how many watches can be used on a winder at one time?
I have watches that have been in boxes for an age but if they have been serviced in the past a gentle shake and up they run don't have a need to keep 30+ watches running.
Now if I only had a couple of high end watches it would probably make sense to own one, while wearing one for a few day at a time and then rotating, only my opinion I am sure others use and love them.
