..............in keeping umpteen automatic watches all ticking away, wearing out their parts (however sub-atomic that wear might be) just so that, when you choose one, the day and date are synchronised.
Far better to keep them quiet and peaceful and restore them to life as you choose to wear them.
It doesn't take much to re-set the day/date on most auto watches.
Just my tuppence worth.
