Unless you have a very complicated watch that's a real pain to set like moonphases or perpetuals I see no need for a winder. If you rotate watches and wind them only when you wear them you you can extend the time between service a very long time. If you keep them running all the time you probably looking at 5 years or so.

I don't buy the I'm so busy excuse. How long does it take to set the time and date and give it a few winds a minute or less?
