Sammy hands on SKXA53/55?

You know you have a problem when you've got two custom watches in the works and you start planning a third...

It struck me this morning that Samurai hands might look nice on an SKXA53 or 55, considering the bullet-shaped indices. Has anyone put one of those together and have you got pics?

An SKX173 with a pepsi bezel insert to mimic an old 7002 or slim case 6309 pepsi, and an SKX011J with black outlined hands and a bezel insert form a 007 (I can't handle the gold...)

So far, the modding bug hasn't really bit me - except to make good Seiko divers a little better.

...for some enterprising soul to start machining 6309 (or even 6105) style cases that we can drop the goods from an SKX007/9/11 into.

The ultimate modern retro - and that watch is what it would look like!
