I've always kinda liked this watch.
But it just seemed as though something
wasn't right. The hands bugged me. They
should be black. The chapter ring also
should have been black to tone it down
just a little. I also thought a PVD bezel
would make the yellow dial pop even more.
So I sent it off to Jack.

It may be heading back to IWW to have the
day/date wheels swapped out for black ones.
I think this would complete the look.
Sorry about the pics. I'm no photographer.

I not only have the yellow chapter ring, but I also have a yellow dial.
I kinda hate to split them up, You never know when you might need them
for a total makeover on a trashed watch.

will be the final touch & make that one mean machine!
I'm liking it right now the way it is,
but yes I have to agree with your thoughts of the black DD wheels, it's really maditory it appears with the yellow dial IMO.
Congrats & very nice looking my brother,

Kind of a 'reverse' Bumble Bee that some folks have done. If you look at Duarte's site, NorthEast Watch Works, in his, our work pics, is my yellow diver w/ black outlined hands. I liked my choice of second hand, because the 'box' matches the indices on the dial.
Yours is a winner. And I'm not sure about your switching the day/date. If you do, then you'll have a black area standing out on the dial. I always have trouble picturing it in advance.
Thanks for sharing.

Chronograph.com are knocking new 7s26b movements out (with the white on black day date) for $48 (check that price before you order).
At that price and with the b being more accurate, and less time than taking a movement to bits, is it worth considering a new movement for it instead of changing day date wheel?
Thank Twickers for the info, he told me.

At $52.00 all in from Lee at Chronograph.com this is still a very good deal - bear in mind that these wheels are available on the TF for $35.00 ( wheels only ) so this is a very good deal, especially as you get a 'B' movement ..........
