I came across a 4006 that was in good condition and decided to purchase it. But when I checked some pics in the forum, it seem that the hands are wrong. Can someone verify whether are there versions with such hands? Thanks.</P>

What caught my eye was the length of the dial hash marks >>>

I think the hands are okay after comparing them to this one:

But the minute hashmarks on the dial seem a bit long for the -7020's usual dial. I did some looking and found this one with similar long minute hashmarks. Plus the dial info at 6:00 looks similarly positioned:

What is the 4006-???? number on the dial at 6:00? And what is the jewel count on the dial and what color is it? That should help us figure this out. But my first thought is that this one is a bit of a "Franken-Bell." But don't let that get you down, especially if it runs well.

Thanks for the reply.

The dial states 4006-6051T. Its a 17 Jewels.  I'd checked the movement and its also 17J.

The back cover states: 4006-7002.

What seems wrong with the hands is, all the pics of the 17J model that I'd found has broader less tapered hands.  Looks like this hand belongs to the 21J model.
