Hi guys, ... did SEIKO make a Chronograph (modell 6139) which came with a single S Q U A R E dial located at "6 o'clock" position ? I've spotted one at *bay
(spanish seller) but i doubt it' orginal.

Pics & comments welcome. TIA - cheers Kurt

... you're absolutely right. I had close look to one of these watches some weeks ago. A friend of mine could not resist to buy one of these "wonderfull" timekeepers. Good to hear - he only spend about 30 Euros. That's not a big loss.

Thanks for answering. Cheers Kurt

It is indeed Speedtimerkollection, they don't have a great reputation within WIS circles. Devilinside (Hernan) recently had a problem with them, but I've seen many other people who have also been disappointed with the watch they received. The watch in question appears to have some corrosion where the case back screws into the case.

The photos often make the watches appear to be much better than they actually are.

.....i thought seiko did make 6139-6040 with SQUARE dial at 6 oclock position. But when i went through speedtimerkollektion site on ebay, the dial colour is all WRONG!! Seiko only make in 2 colours only white and orange (am i correct?). Speedtimerkollektion has a BLACK dial and its a NO NO, but it does looks really great on BLACK doesn't it...:D
I also thinking of getting a couple of watches from them but with -neg thread on this forum, i keep them away....

Heres a site to see all 6139 model....
Hope this helps...enjoy

there is an orange dial and a 'bronze' or gold toned version. for some reason, these two variants are never in good condition with the dials looking to be dirty and washed out.
