I was searching for the deal I never seem to find and ran across someone selling "10 Bellmatic 4006A, button axles (stems) part number 8999926". I did a little research and the part number that I find for the button axle is 8999984. I guess my question is will the 899926 work on my 4006-6049 that will not advance the date when I push the alarm button in?

I also have a 4006 6021 and 6040 that I could use as parts watches. Would the parts of all Bell Matics be interchangeable?

will fit any Belle, as for interchangeability, the answer is yes and no, yes the alarm stems are all the same apart from the lengths which can vary model to model.

ps: A common "problem" with the alarm button not changing the date is crud underneath it preventing it pushing all the way.
