I didn't know where to post this on ML, but thought this was the most appropriate place. If you're in the New York or NYC area, there is a place you can drop off your unwanted kits and be assured they will reach the baghdad Hobby Club in the Victory Palace, Iraq. Mr. Charles Gonder, a veteran himself, is active in accepting the kits and getting them out to the troops on a quick basis, with many packages going out weekly. He's proprietor of Gold Coast Hobbies (www.goldcoasthobby.com) where you can get directions, his number, and business hours. Its a great way to part with stuff you know you aren't going to build, it can make another fellow happy, and it feels good (I dropped off a number yesterday). Its also a convenience in dropping them off and letting Charlie thru the American Legion do their fine job of getting them out. Thought some of you would like to know.

Keep in mind that subjects should be complete (not started or painted). Box condition doesn't matter, and the subject has to be inoffensive to Islam (no girlie kits, you get the idea). All sorts of oddball stuff you may have is most welcome. Regards, MK
