Hi Lawrence,

Hope all is well.

These decals look nice, but any idea when your churchills will be done?

Many thanks,

Nick

Churchills...

May 15 2009, 12:55 AM

7 tricky names to go - out of the whole mother of a great lot... and it will be all set to go. Believe me, I am pushing this set out the best I can, atop of all others that needs to be completed. You won't believe how many variations of font-types that's being used just by the Dieppe vehicles alone! As usual, all paintstakingly re-created in scale, no short-cuts by using close-enough-but-not-good-enough computer fonts...

happy.gif And after that, it will be more allied tanks, Matildas - bring it on!! Yes, yes, more M4s too!

And axis, and modern, and this and that.. and little bit of this and also that...

I'm beginning to feel two bumps on my sides... I think I'm going to grow an extra pair of hands!... Or maybe I just need to see a shrink...

Kiddings aside - Churchills are on progress, please have a bit more of patience, it will be out before 3rd quarter of this year, maybe much earlier if nothing goes wrong...

Cheers!

Lawrence

no problem Lawrence

I was just (half!) kidding.

Good news about the Matildas too - can't wait.

By the way, I noticed that you (and I think the "other" manufacturer in your space - the one with the dodgy computer fonts!?) do not cover early Panzer IVs in North Africa ie D and E versions, short barrel etc etc.

Is this because DML produced such a monster decal sheet in their kits of these vehicles? I think there is a gap there in the market, as the DML call out options had errors in them from memory, and their info on each vehicle was a little vague.

Either way, best of luck and keep up the good work - your decal sheets really are top class!!!

Kind regards,

Nick

Short barreled IV...

July 29 2009, 10:55 AM

Dear Nick,

Take a look again, BISON did at least two sheets with DAK Pzkw IV on, many D,E and F1 IIRC.

Best regards

Tomas Enerdal
