New Dio Items, Great Quality, MP Designs!!!

I recently received some awesome Dio items from Monroe Perdu (MP) Designs (www.monroeperdue.com) and here is a review of two of their products.

Item #MPD 007- North African Street Scene- 1/35-54mm includes 2 different resin building fronts, a large resin cobblestone road bed, one resin Pergola (kind of a small enclosed balcony), a small paper card with 13 building/road signs, and 3 small metal rings for door knockers. The detail and casting are top notch, and the look is definitely North African/Middle Eastern. 4 pages of instructions, info, and even color pics! are included. Their research adds a lot of interest. This can add some truly unique and colorful quality to a dio and is highly recommended. Buy the Brown Resin casting, its a bit cheaper and lighter weight, better for dioramas.

Item #MPD 011- Cobblestone Corner- 1/35-54mm includes a single resin base with molded-in intersecting road sections, sidewalk, and circular grate (the type seen protecting trees in parks and urban areas). The detail is once again excellent, with many small variations and much character. It is 7”x7”, perfect for figs, jeeps, and maybe even a tank if the driver doesn’t mind parking on the sidewalk. Once again highly recommended.

Check these out, and the rest of the fascinating MP Designs products at their web site www.monroeperdue.com . Oh, and they are located in Simi Valley, CA. Made in the USA.
