Has anyone every tried to model a parachute, say, one that's partly-grounded/being reefed in by a paratroopers on the ground? i'm working on a 1/72 Crete dio, and I've started with a mold and vacuform of what I think looks good, for shape and form. The challenges seem to be 1) getting a good fabric/seam texture to paint, 2) getting the layout of the ribs and panels in the 'chute, and then--of course- 3)stringing all the risers onto the 'chute at the attachment points. Any ideas would be appreciated, and it's a big ole stinkin' plus if y'all could post some links/photos of what you've done in the past!
