In fact, I've already vaccuformed the 'chute, in a weird shape over a hand-made mold, primarily concentrating on each of the panels of the 'chute. I'm not too worried about the 'diameter', since the thing will be partly collapsed...just need to keep it smaller, not too big...and then collapsed part will be epoxy putty on the ground. I'm trying to do a 'chute for a Fallschrimbombe container, and may even have it drape over some rocks or a wall, then put the risers in the hands of one or two guys rolling it up. I'd like to find some of the Preiser Parachutes I've seen listed on a site...but noone seems to have them. Might be easier to just heat and bend them, if they even exist.
