I use this product for a lot of larger surface to surface diorama bonding applications - it does set fairly quickly unless you go overboard with the application. Make sure you use adequate ventilation if you put alot of it down. You may want to use clamps to snuggle it down and eliminate any play.

It is fairly cheap (less than $4) and can be found at most any place (Walmart).
