I am coming to the end of my latest project, which is a couple of Russians posed around the Verlinden statue of Lenin. However, I am not happy with the finish on the statute . The following steps have been carried out on him

Nato black undercoat acrylic
Bronze acrylic airbrushed on
High light damage with gold enamel
Black wash
Filters x3 various colours
Green dry brush
Various oil paint washes to look weathered

Light tan dry brush and rain marks with oil paints

However, after all this fiddling about I am un happy with the result can anyone offer some advice to finish this off with out trashing it At present it looks good but not great.

Thanks in advance ,

Jerry
