Response to Belgian Gates Plans /Diagrams Wanted

Hi,
Those Belgian Gates were also 'Element C' or Cointet Gates, it was a specific antitank obstacle, developed by and named after the French engineer General Léon-Edmond de Cointet de Fillaire. First they were used to make a line of antitank defence in Belgium, to close the gap between the fortresses of Antwerp and Namur.
This line of defence lay between the city of Koningshooikt and the city of Wavre, more than 100 km.
Each gate weights 1300kg and was fixed to the ground with diggen in concrete poles.
Those gates were rolled in place, thanks to their heavy steel rollers. The lack of troops and anti tank guns to defend this line made it completely useless.
After the defeat in May 1940, the Germans took them and used them in 1944 on their Atlantik wall also at OMAHA beach as an Antitank barrier.
If you wish I will send the photos and drawings to your e-mail adress.
Grtz,
Stephan.
